PEGAS-3S: Fire-retardant self-supporting panels

PEGAS-3S

Fire-retardant panels PEGAS-3S are produced based on expanded perlite and vermiculite with the addition of a mineral binder – cement and targeted additives to increase the strength of the finished panel. Basalt fiber is used to enhance strength. The manufacturing technology and substances used ensure lightweight, versatility during installation, and reliable protection of structures against high temperatures and open flames. The panels belong to the first group of fire-retardant efficiency.

We are also ready to offer our customers professional manufacturing of fire protection boxes based on our fire-retardant panels PEGAS-3S. Our experienced staff ensures the quality production of boxes, guaranteeing their effectiveness and compliance with high fire protection standards. Whether you need a fire protection box for electrical equipment, ventilation systems, or other technical devices, our fire-retardant panels will provide reliable protection against high temperatures and open flames.

FEATURES AND ADVANTAGES

The PEGAS-3S panels can be processed using standard tools:

  • drilling;
  • milling;
  • cutting.

Ease of use and on-site processing of the panels allow for the creation of fire-retardant protective structures of the required sizes and configurations without significant effort.
The panels are resistant to moisture, making them suitable for use in industrial premises with non-standard microclimatic conditions.
No additional substructures need to be manufactured for the installation of products; the panels are self-supporting. They can be installed even in hard-to-reach places, and the sheets are fastened together using self-tapping screws or steel staples.

TECHNICAL INDICATORS

  • Non-combustible panels without the release of toxic substances under thermal exposure;
  • Low coefficient of linear expansion (no deformation when exposed to flame);
  • Resistant to moisture – do not swell;
  • Possess high strength and are easy to install;
  • High fire resistance rating – up to R240.

Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions

What is structural fire protection?
Structural fire protection is a set of measures and materials aimed at enhancing the resistance of building structures to high temperatures in the event of a fire. It involves the use of special fire-resistant coatings, materials, and structural solutions to prevent or delay the spread of fire, ensuring the safety of buildings and structures.
What types of fire-retardant materials exist?
Fire-retardant materials can include intumescent coatings, fire-resistant paints, polyurethane foams, fire-resistant gypsum boards, as well as special fire-resistant coatings and cladding materials. These materials are used to reduce the spread of fire, prevent its penetration into structures, and enhance the fire resistance of buildings and structures.
What is the fire-retardant limit?
Fire-retardant limit is the time interval during which building structures or materials can withstand high temperatures and flame exposure while maintaining their structural integrity. It is measured in minutes and is a crucial parameter in evaluating the fire safety of buildings. A higher fire resistance rating provides additional time for evacuation and firefighting efforts.
